Graveside Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Givhans Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with Pastor John Glen Creel officiating.
Alford was born on October 8, 1939, in Meggett, a son of the late Benny Lee Muckelvaney and Lanie Creel Muckelvaney. He was a carpenter and a member of the Edisto Indian Tribe. He was predeceased by daughters, Donna Muckenfuss and Mary Muckelvaney.
Surviving are his daughters, Arlene (Michael) M. Eargle and Catherine L. (Stevie) Tracy, Cottageville; life partner, Betty Toschner; stepsons, Don Williams, Ridgeville and Charles Williams, Summerville; grandchildren, Heather Doyle, Cody Eargle, Hunter Eargle, Kristen Tracy, Jacolby Tracy, Spencer Muckenfuss and Mallory Muckenfuss; great-grandchildren, Shuwn Doyle, Trevor Doyle, Jahnya Nembhard and Holly Tracy; great-grandchild, Hayden Doyle; brothers, Roy (Dixie) Muckelvaney, Ridgeville, Bert (Virginia) Muckelvaney, St. George and Benny Muckelvaney, Ridgeville; and a sister, Sara Russell, Ridgeville.
