Allen Wayne Marchant, husband of Melissa Moore Marchant, 56, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at his residence.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Refuge Church, 203 Eddie Chasteen Dr., Walterboro with Pastor Craig Crosby officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Allen was born on May 22, 1968, in Walterboro, a son of late Thomas Bradley Marchant and Ruth Elizabeth Bazzle Marchant, his birth mother was the late Joyce Watson. He attended Harleyville-Ridgeville High School was a former Heavy Equipment operator for Dorchester County and was a lumber grader for Upchurch Lumber Company. He was a member of the Refuge Church in Walterboro, SC. He was predeceased by his first wife, Deborah Wimberly Marchant, and his siblings; Louise M. Pendarvis, Billy W. Marchant

Surviving is his wife, Melissa Moore Marchant; step-children, Mary Catherine (Chris) Blanchard; Stephen Timothy Hutto; Daniel (Jessica) Ford and Travis (Whitney) Ford. Granddaughters, Emma Catherine and Molly Christine Blanchard; Siblings; Tommie (Patty) Marchant, Robert (Charlotte) Marchant, Johnnie (Stacie) Marchant., Tracy Watson Holt, Robin Watson (Richard) Sheffield and Delores Patrick; and a number of nieces and nephews.
