Brenda Polk Blankenship, 71, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Trident Medical Center.
Brenda was born on May 19, 1949 in Mullens, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Estil Lonnie Polk and Dorothy Louise Kirkwood Polk. She was a supervisor bookkeeper and attended Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving is a daughter, Michelle (Mike) Carreira, St. George; a son, Jay Stewart, Harrisburg, NC; grandchildren, Jeremy Stewart, Sydney Carreira, Erin Carreira, and Josh Benton; great-grandchild, Jhett Stewart; a brother, David (Katy) Polk; sisters, Barbara (Bob) Harris, Betty McKernan, Judy Gail Sizemore, Marsha (Rick) Edwards and Jackie Roberts; and a number of nieces and nephews.
