Cameron Wagers Connor, 13, of Dorchester, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 21, 2024.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Dorchester Academy’s Shuler Gym, 234 Academy Road, St. George with Reverends Jamie Cribb and Ronnie Brewer officiating.  Honorary Pallbearers will be the Dorchester Academy Junior Varsity football and baseball teams and the 8th grade class.  The family will receive friends following the service. 

Cameron was born on March 3, 2010, in Charleston, a son of Alistair Marshall Connor and Penny Wagers Connor. He was an 8th grade student where he excelled both in the classroom at Dorchester Academy and on the field in JV football and baseball.  He received the Trustworthy award which describes his personality perfectly. He was a free spirit that beat to his own drum.  Cameron was genuine, compassionate, loving and caring to all he encountered.  He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed hunting and being outdoors.

Surviving are his parents, Marshall and Kelly Connor; his mother, Penny Wagers Connor; brothers, Bryson and Finnley Connor; maternal grandparents, Penn (Marcie) Wagers and Teresa H. (Victor) Breaker; paternal grandparents, Andy (Lynn) Connor and David (Kathy) Bishop; uncles, Vince (Jamie) Connor and Devin (Sara) Taylor, and Jake (Christy) Taylor; aunts, Kaiti (Robert) Wicker, Missy (Jody) Young, Jennifer (Shannon) Dixon and Amber (Alex) Lorde; cousins, Katherine and Madeline Connor, Collin, Legare and Adley Wicker and Gavin and Wyatt Young, Elizabeth Taylor, Shane, Allen and Joseph Dixon, Bentley Arnold and Zoey Lorde.
