Curtis Leroy Clark, 92, husband of Nona Summers Clark, entered eternal rest on Thursday August 13, 2026, at the Laurel Crest Retirement Community in Lexington, SC with his loving family by his side.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Reverend Joey McDonald officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Gregory Clark, Julian Clark, Joseph Clark, Ronnie Summers, Steve Summers and Garrett Greer.

The family will receive friends an hour before the service, beginning at 10:00 AM in the church.

Curtis was born on May 7, 1934, in Dorchester, South Carolina, the son of the late Joseph Leroy Clark and Mattie Lou Stephens Clark. He was a graduate of Ridgeville High School and attended the University of South Carolina. He had a long career in banking with Farmers and Merchants Bank of Walterboro, C&S Bank, and later Bank of America, from which he retired. He also served as a sergeant in the South Carolina Army National Guard and was a member of St. George Methodist Church. Curtis had a deep affection for Edisto Beach and took great pride in tending the plants and flowers in his yard.

He was predeceased by a sister, Weslie Clark and a sister-in-law Patricia McWhorter Clark

Surviving are his wife, Nona; two sons, Gregory Paul (Beth) Clark and John Curtis (Julie) Clark; grandchildren, Gregory P. Clark, II, Dr. Sallie Clark (Scott) Giblin, Weslie Ann Clark (Kyle) McGregor, Lindie Summers Clark, John Julien (Anna) Clark and Joseph William Clark; great-grandchildren, Clara Elizabeth Giblin, Clark William Giblin, Rigby James Giblin, Elliott Thomas McGregor, Samuel Robert McGregor and Julianna Clark; a brother, James Roger Clark; and a niece, Allison C. (Chad) Greer.

Memorials may be made to St. George Methodist Church.
