Cyndie was born June 8, 1959, in Morgantown, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Harry David Austin and Rosemary Pyles Austin. Cyndie never met a stranger her entire life. She’d give you the last thing of anything she had with no reservations. Was loved by so many. And loved so many. Cyndie’s love for the Lord was priceless. Was always praying, thankful for Him and His constant forgiveness, giving, and love.  She loved arts and crafts. You name it, she would make it. Or give it a solid effort. Her laugh was very contagious. She loved to spread joy.  Cyndie and her sister Carol were close and in constant contact from texting to nightly calls. Whether it was to complain about their day or to chat about their daily joys in life.

Surviving is her husband of 34 years of marriage as of May 22nd, to whom she loved so dearly, Thomas Simers. They are/were two peas in a pod. Cyndie adored all 7 of her children. She was closest to her 3 girls. Catrina being the oldest. Amber is second oldest and Ashley the youngest. Her pride and joy were her grandsons Austin and Micaiah, whom she helped raise. She loved to talk about all 16 of her grand babies. It brought her joy and happiness to get to know all of them and share their stories.
