David Earl Esteppe Obituary

David Earl Esteppe, 79, of Harleyville, widower of Virginia “Ginny” Esteppe, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 16, 2022.


Graveside Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in the Beaufort National Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday morning at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George.


David was born on January 5, 1943, in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Earl R. and Eleanor Watson Esteppe.  He served in the US Navy and retired from Patapsco Back-River Neck Railroad.  He was a proud member of the American Legion, VFW and Eagles and loved bluegrass music.  He was preceded by his wife Virginia (Ginny) Esteppe - married 27 years


Survived by: sons, David Esteppe Junior and Darrell Esteppe (Michelle); grandchildren, Corey Anderson (Chelsie), Joshua Esteppe (Nikki), Darrell Esteppe Jr (Carlie), Brianna Judy (Evan) Daughter Dawn Long (Randy), Alishia Long, Savannah Long Daughter Denise Esteppe, Sarafina Glorioso, Brittany Esteppe, Kayla Esteppe; several Great Grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Esteppe (Patricia), niece, Kaitlyn Esteppe, Sister MaryEllen Vecchioni; niece, Catherine Vecchioni-Robinson and a nephew Brian Vecchioni.
