David Fralix, husband of Joyce Fralix, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at his residence.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Bryant Funeral Home with visitation an hour before the service.  Burial will follow in the Siegler Cemetery, Grover.

David was born on March 7, 1943, the son of the late Melvin Fralix and Pearl Singletary Fralix. He was a retired motor grader operator with Dorchester County.  David loved playing guitar and singing.  He and his brothers-in-law, Buddy and Abraham, spent many hours jamming when they were younger.  David could compose a song in a minute, but he never wrote them down.  He enjoyed a music ministry at the local nursing home for many years. He was predeceased by brothers, Joseph M. Fralix and Paul W. Fralix.

Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Joyce Bumgarner Fralix, daughter, Sharon (Tim) Bates, Summerville; sons, David C. (Bonnie) Fralix, Charleston,  Kevin W. (Jessica) Fralix, Harleyville, daughter in love, Wendy Fralix, St. George; grandchildren, Cassidy Rentz, Nicholas Bates, Daniel Fralix and Claire Fralix; great grandchildren, Charlotte and Patrick Rentz; sister, Pearl Delane (Gary) Miner, Ridgeville; many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Renken and the Amedisys Hospice staff for their care.  Special thanks to Amy, Brandy and Nikki and to Roxy his favorite caregiver.
