David Blaine Smoak, 53, of Dorchester, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Alex Meade and Craig Crosby officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour before the service.
Blaine was born on April 16, 1972, in Orangeburg, a son of Linda Stack Smoak and the late Charles William Smoak, Sr. He was a graduate of St. George High School and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Blaine was a loving dad and granddaddy. He loved hunting and fishing with his boys and friends. He loved Smoak Road and that was his home, and he was happy there.
Surviving is his mother, Linda Smoak; a daughter, Megan Smoak; a son, James C. Smoak and special grandson, Christian G. Bishop; brother, Charles (Sheri) Smoak, Jr.; niece, Sarah (Brandon) Bird; great nephew, Joshua Bird
and a half-sister, Tina (Robbie) Tracey.
