Edward “Eddie” Wallace Moore, Jr., 65, of St. George, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 6, 2022, at his residence.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Old St. George Baptist Church with the Reverend James Way officiating. 

Eddie was born on November 6, 1956, in Charleston, a son of Shirley Delane Roberts and the late Edward Wallace Moore, Sr.  He served in the Army National Guard.  He was employed with the Charleston Naval Shipyard as a pipefitter and various civil service jobs in Oklahoma, Florida Everglades and Alaska.  He loved traveling and mostly to his favorite places, Alaska and the Florida Everglades and was an avid outdoorsman.  He was predeceased by a sister, Kristy Davis; a niece, Jenni Davis; a great nephew, Latrell Jenkins and stepfather, James J. Roberts.

Surviving is his daughter, Roberta (J.T.) Whetsell; three grandchildren, John, Jack and Jacob Whetsell; his mother, Shirley Roberts; brothers, Timmy (Patti) Moore, Steve (Jerri) Moore and Phillip Moore; former wife and friend, Rita Murray; nephews, Jessie (Patti) Moore, TJ and Trevor Moore; nieces, Ashley (CJ) Jenkins; great niece, Layla Jenkins; and, special friend, Brenda.
