Evelyn Ruth Pate Roberts, 86, widow of Jackie Edward Roberts, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Magnolias Santee, SC.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Dorchester Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George.

Evelyn was born on June 24, 1938, a daughter of the late John Evelyn Pate and Regina Revells Pate in St. George. Evelyn Ruth married the love of her life, Jackie Roberts, May 29, 1956, celebrating 65 years of marriage.  Evelyn Ruth was predeceased by her parents, sister, Ida Alice Lane, brother-in-law, Gene Lane and a daughter-in-law, Tanya Roberts.

Surviving are her sons, Patrick (Sharon) Roberts, Todd Roberts and Bart (Denise) Roberts; grandchildren, Chris, Tiffany, Lauren (Fred), Caroline (Will), Will, Celeste (Milton), Summer (Michael);

grandchildren, Samantha (PJ), and Colton Burley; great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Connor, Maya, Nicholas and Jack, Maely, Max, Milo and Maven; and her brother-in-law, Mendel (Uldene) Roberts.
