Faye Murray Kizer, 92, widow of Francis Marion Kizer, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 13, 2023 at her home in Harleyville.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Harleyville Southern Methodist Church with Rev. Damon Williams and Rev. Haskell Parler officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be an hour before the service.

Faye was born on September 14, 1930, a daughter of the late Jesse Anderson and Lida Cummings Murray.  She retired from the First National Bank of South Carolina on April 30, 1991, after 31 years of service.  She was a member of the Harleyville Southern Methodist Church where she was a choir member.  She was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan, loved camping, going to campmeeting and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Gwen (Eddie) Heaton, Jennifer (Randy) Goethe and Murray (Sharon) Kizer; grandchildren, Lindsay Davis (Jason), Ben Heaton, Jessica Walters, Whitney Mellis (William) and Taylor Kizer (Haider); great-grandchildren, Chance Mellis, Maci Mellis, Brooks Davis, Stella Davis; and, sister, Patsy M. Kirby.

The family wishes to thank her angels here on earth, Margaret Ann Carn and Rosa Lee Carn for their excellent care of our mother.
