Frances Dukes, 66, of St. George, widow of  James B. Dukes, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 6, 2025/

The family will receive friends on from 3:00-5:00 PM Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George.

Frances was born on September 7, 1959, in Elloree, SC, a daughter of the late Ray Wilson Smith and Elizabeth Marie Geddings Smith.  She was retired from Food Lion and attended St. George Methodist Church.  She was predeceased by brothers, Roy Wilson Smith, David Eugene Smith and Leon Smith; and a sister, Ann Rickebaker.

Surviving, James B. Dukes, Jr., William Smith, David K. Smith, Robert “Ray” Shuler, Christopher “Ted” Dukes, Michael D. Dukes and Lester Ray Rickenbaker; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sisters, Linda Griffin and Christine Ayers; and, special family member, Theresa Hickman.
