Harry Carl Brooker, 78, of Bowman and formerly of Millinocket, Maine, husband of Susan Jones Brooker, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at his residence.  He passed of ALS after being tenderly cared for by Susan’s endless energy.

Harry was born on January 2, 1947, in Millinocket, Maine, a son of the late Arnold Densmore Brooker and Carlene Peters Brooker.  He graduated from Stearns High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. His career included work as both a contractor and an educator. He was passionate about carpentry and gardening and was dedicated to outdoor activities. He was predeceased by siblings, Nancy Hasey and Wayne Brooker.

Surviving is his wife, Susan J. Brooker; a son, Seth (Nicole) Brooker, Union, Maine; a daughter, Jessica (Marty) Brooker Kositz; grandson, Jaxson Kositz; step-grandchildren, Frank, Jason and Bradley Kositz; step-great grandchildren, Sierra Riedy, Anya and Fritz Kositz, Everett and Pierson Kositz, Brent Kositz and James Lockwood; step great, great grandchildren, Carter and Jessie Riedy; brothers, John (Sherri) Brooker and Dan (Peggy) Brooker; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Phil and Terry Merrill; and his best dog, Chunk.
