Jacquelyn Hutto Neil, widow of Jack Sylvester Neil, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the Magnolias of Santee.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Willow Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.
Jacquelyn was born on July 27, 1930, in Norway, SC a daughter of the late, Maurice and Ruby Hutto.
She was a public-school teacher for over 30 years. She took pride in being Nikki Haley’s 4th grade teacher. After retirement she and her husband joined Friendship Force International and made numerous trips abroad as well as hosted numerous international guests in their home. She was predeceased by sons, John Eric Neil and Gary Kurtis Neil.
Surviving is a son, Dwight (Karen) Neil, St. George; a daughter-in-law, Libby Neil, Townville, SC; grandchildren; Laura (Wright) Henry of Clemson, Rebecca (Trey) Wade of St. George, Jenna (Robert) McCall of Maryville, Tennessee, Jack (Kristen) Neil, Lexington, SC, Grace (Jacob) Crisp of Huntersville, NC; great-grandchildren, Curtis and Callan Henry; Dallas, Sawyer, Maddox, and Zadie Wade; Bishop and Caroline McCall; Hank, Emma and Lyla Neil; and a sister, Carol Jacques of Johns Island.
