Jess Daniel Hopper, 70, husband of Lisa M. Hopper, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at his residence.
A Memorial Service will be held in White City, Kansas at a later date.
Jess was born on September 5, 1952, in Junction City, Kansas, a son of the late Danny Jess Hopper and Jennie Antonio Hopper. He was a maintenance leader with the Department of the Army, Fort Riley, Kansas. He had a passion for cars. He attended several car shows and a few Nascar races, one very neat trip was to Talladega, Alabama, where his parents went with them. He also had a hobby for building model airplanes and loved model trains. He was predeceased by a son, Jeremy Dwaine Hopper and a brother, Alan Hopper.
Surviving is his wife, Lisa Hopper, St. George; sons, Travis Lane Hannan, Salina, Kansas, Joshua Derrick (Evangeline) Hopper, Goose Creek and Jacob Ryan (Michela) Hopper, Summerville; grandchildren, Zachary Hannan, Chloe L. Hopper and Jeremy James Hopper; sister, Theresa Ann (Bob) Clemence; a sister-in-law, Denise Hopper; brother-in-law, Mark D. (Patricia) Roediger; mother-in-law, Stella M. Roediger; and several nieces and nephews.
