John Joseph Moorer, Jr., 68, of Harleyville, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at his residence.  

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 26, 2025, in the Dorchester Cemetery.

John was born on December 25, 1956 in Orangeburg, a son of the late John Joseph Moorer, Sr and Ruth Murray Moorer Metts.  He was a graduate of Mims Academy and the Baptist College in Charleston.  He was a transportation driver.

Surviving is his sister, Charlotte Moorer Wilson, Cumming, Georgia and many cousins in South Carolina.
