John Thompson “Buggie” Greene, III, widower of Beverly H. Greene, died Saturday August 7, 2021 in a Walterboro Nursing Home.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Ott Cemetery, Branchville, with the Reverend James Way officiating.
Mr. Greene was born August 29, 1938, in Branchville, a son of the late John Thompson Greene, Jr. and Miriam Patrick Greene. He was the former owner of Greene’s Radio Shack and was an electronic repairman. He was an ultra-light pilot, a Ham Radio Operator; his call letters were K4ILT. He was predeceased by a son, John “Tommy” Greene, IV and a grandson John Thompson Greene, V.
Surviving; children; Laura Ann Greene, Irmo and Rusty Greene, St. George; grandchildren; Rachael Berry and Andrew Schoonoper, of Irmo; and a sister-in-law, Mary and her husband, Vic Walters, Young Harris, Georgia.
