Joseph "Mick" Earl Weathers Obituary

Joseph Earl “Mick” Weathers, 86, husband of Sadie B. Weathers, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 8, 2024, at his residence.


Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 11, 2024, at Old St. George Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Mims officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour before the service.


Mick was born on May 12, 1937, in St. George, a son of the late Andrew Patrick Weathers and Carrie “Bet” Elizabeth Heaton and was preceded in death by his brother, Cecil M. Weathers.  He was a graduate of St. George High School.  He was the owner and operator along with his brother for over 40 years of Weathers BP, formerly Weathers Gulf.  He as a volunteer firefighter of the St. George Fire Department and a member of Old St. George Baptist Church.


Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Sadie B. Weathers; children, Blake (Lori) Weathers, Tammy Q. (Ted) Beasley and Dana Quattlebaum; grandchildren, Sally Weathers, Angie (Todd) Williams, Ashley (Regina) Colson, Andrew (Bernadett) Quattlebaum and Candice Quattlebaum; brothers, George (Patricia) Weathers and Lamar (Patty) Weathers.
