Kathryn “Kathy” Weeks Batten, 69, of Harleyville, wife of Julius Walter Batten, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Howard Proveaux officiating.  Visitation will be held an hour before the service. 

Kathy was born on July 11, 1953, in Orangeburg, a daughter of the late James Herman Weeks and Mary Alice Durr Weeks.  She was a 1969 graduate of Clarendon Hall and attended North Greenville College.  She was a Branch Manager with First National Bank of Holly Hill, Eutawville branch.  She was predeceased by a son, Henry Fox “Trey” Tindal, III

Surviving is her husband, Julius W. Batten, Harleyville; daughter, Mary Hope (Patrick) Hughes, Santee; sons, Michael Shaun (Nancy) Ulrichsen, St. George, Julius Walter (Alicia) Batten, Jr. and Travis Allen (Amanda) Batten; grandchildren, Dalton Hughes, Darla Hughes, Justin Batten, Brynn Batten, Cross Batten and Kristian Batten; and a brother, James Michael “Top” Weeks.
