Louanne Grace Heath, 71, of St. George, widow of Richard “Ricky” Hutto Heath, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the St. George Healthcare Center.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will begin at 1:30 until time of service.  The burial will follow in the St. George Cemetery.

Louanne was born on July 5, 1952, in Norfolk, Virginia, a daughter of the late Thomas L. Grace and Viola M. Worthy Grace.  She grew up in Corpus Christi, TX.  She graduated from W.B. Ray High School in 1972 and attended Del Mar College.  She was a homemaker and had a career in music. Her greatest joy came from singing and playing the flute in various bands over the years. She was predeceased by her brothers, Paul J. Grace and Thomas L. Grace Jr.      

Surviving is her sister, Elizabeth Grace from Corpus Christi, TX; brother-in-law, Mike (Susan) Heath from Hanahan, SC; sisters in law, Kay Heath Henry from Edisto Beach, SC, Judy Heath Byrd from St. George, SC, Joan Berry (Steve) Nassar from Melbourne, FL and Tommi Lin Berry (Kevin) Garrick from St. George, SC;  stepdaughter, Kristen Sloan from Charleston; step grandchildren,  Chelsea Quinn Mosley and Victor Heath Sloan; 4 step great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
