Marion Wayne Walters, 75, of Reevesville, husband of Linda Dukes Walters, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Alex Mead officiating. Burial will follow in the Heaton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews.
The family will receive friends an hour before the service.
Wayne was born on June 3, 1950, in Reevesville, a son of the late Marion Rufus and Elizabeth Gracie Nettles Walters. He attended St. George High School and was the owner of Pest Control Masters for 30 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was an usher, deacon and treasurer.
He was predeceased by a sister, Joan Elizabeth Walters Mizell.
Surviving is his wife, Linda Walters; two sons, Marion Richard Walters and Timothy Wayne Walters; daughter, Thresa Gayle Walters; grandchildren, Shaina Leggett, Tiffany Jordan Walters and Stephanie W. Brownlee; great-grandchildren, Corey Leggett, Cameron Lance Legett, Kaylee Leggett, Karlee Leggett, Finley Brownlee and Elias Brownlee.
