Melissa Anne Lilly

Melissa Anne Lilly, 55, of Dorchester, wife of Kevin Eugene Lilly, entered into eternal rest of Saturday, August 8, 2026, at her residence. 

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 20, 2026, with Pastor Craig Crosby officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service.

Melissa was born on January 22, 1971, in Rochester, New York, and she was the daughter of the late Charles Carlyll Sigl and Linda Kent Sigl.  She was a 1989 graduate of Penfield High School.

Melissa had many passions in life, but her biggest by far was being a mother. She adored her two boys and loved them unconditionally. She enjoyed being fashionable, gardening, cooking, and watching Christmas movies. 

She will be remembered for her electric blue eyes, warm smile and healing hugs. She brought light to every room she entered and her laughter filled it. Family was always important to Melissa, and she made sure they knew it in all that she did. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Surviving is her husband, Kevin E. Lilly; sons, Justin Tyler (MaryRose)Vicens and Dylan Michael (Faith) Lilly; stepdaughter, Ashley Renae (Tim) Lilly-West; grandchildren, Karson West, Kaylauni West and Carlie Mae Lilly; brothers, Richard (Myrna) Arliss and Jim (Tess) Arliss; sisters, Dawn Wright and Donna Sigl Lusk.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Dorchester Paws, 136 4 Paws Lane, Summerville, SC 29483.
