Mildred Cleveland Rickenbaker

Mildred Cleveland Rickenbaker, 97, of St. George, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Mims officiating with burial following in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends an hour before the service.

Miss Rickenbaker was born on November 10, 1928, a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Mary (Bessie) Elizabeth Wimberly Rickenbaker. She attended St. George Schools.  She was a lifetime faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Miriam and Shirley Ann Rickenbaker.

Surviving is one sister, Elizabeth Haugh of Summerville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 114 Baptist Drive, St. George, SC 29477.
