Robert Lynn Mizell, Sr., husband of Nancy E. Mizell, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at his residence.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Harleyville Southern Methodist Church with Rev. Damon Williams and Haskell Parler officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Robert was born on August 9, 1957, a son of the late Lewis William Mizell and Betty Jean Rudd Mizell.  He was a truck driver with Burdell Sweatman Trucking and a member of Harleyville Southern Methodist Church.  He loved trucking, country music, Nascar, fishing, his family his pets, Midnight and Ginger.

Surviving is his wife, Nancy E. Mizell, Harleyville; sons, Robert “Robbie” (Jamie) Mizell, Jr., Walterboro and Travis (Jill Atkinson) Mizell, Metter, GA; daughter, Crystal (Ricky) Owens, Cross; grandchildren, Carson Owens, Tyler Owens, Emme Owens, Caroline Mizell, Corbin Mizell, Zack Mizell, Levi Mizell, Macy Mizell and Aubrey Mizell; and a brother, Johnny (Judy) Mizell.
