Robert Mitchell “Bobby” Westbury, 73, of Holly Hill, husband of Alice Coker Westbury, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Harleyville Southern Methodist Church with Rev. Haskell Parler officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Trevor Westbury, Jeffy Westbury, Chris Blanchard, Clint Westbury, Ricky Rickenbacker and Andrew Taylor.  The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the church.

Bobby was born on November 23, 1951, in Orangeburg, a son of the late Jefferson “Buster” Westbury and Virginia Fralix Westbury.  He was a graduate of Harleyville Ridgeville High School and attended Trident Technical College. He was the manager of Westbury’s Ace Hardware in Holly Hill for over 50 years.  He enjoyed being with his family and driving backroads with his brother Danny.  He spent time fishing in his pond, gardening and watching NASCAR races.  

He was predeceased by brothers, Daniel “Danny” Westbury and David Westbury; brothers-in-law, Daniel Blanchard, Harmon Coker, Edgar Coker and John “Bootsie” Jackson; sisters-in-law, Boogie Westbury and Clara Jackson.

Surviving is his wife, Alice C. Westbury; a son, Heath Mitchell (Jillian) Westbury; a daughter, Mandy (Marv) Brown; grandchildren, Colby, Trevor and Chloe Westbury and Liam and Beckett Brown; brother, Jefferson Lewis “Bill” (Nell) Westbury and a sister, Louise W. Blanchard; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
