Ronald Wayne Fettue Obituary

Ronald Wayne Fettue, 74, of Dorchester, husband of Sharon Dantzler Fettue, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 4, 2024.


Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 7, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Harleyville with Pastor Jamie Cribb officiating.  Burial will be in Limestone Baptist Church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Len Dantzler, Wayne O’Brien, Keith O’Brien, Kevin O’Brien, Everette Dantzler, Joey Dantzler and Erik Mizell.


The family will receive friends an hour before the service.


Ronald was born on September 5, 1950 in Mobile, Alabama, a son of the late Norman E. Fettue and Carlotta Lassiter Fettue.  He was a graduate of the Baptist College and was a retired engineer with the Department of Defense.  He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Harleyville. He was predeceased by a son, Brian Paul Fettue.


Surviving is his wife, Sharon Dantzler Fettue, Dorchester; a son, Phillip “Shawn” (Lindsay) Fettue, Greenville; loved by grandchildren, Parker and Emersyn Moore and Gage, Abby and Weston Hinman; sisters, Sharon (Henry) McDonald, Suzette Gaines, Jackie Stelling and Carla Green.
