Rose Marie Felder Bair, 84, of Reevesville, South Carolina, widow of George Maxwell “Maxie” Bair, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 9, 2024, at her home in Reevesville, under the care of Hospice and her loving daughter, Theresa B. Chaplin.  Rose was born on June 6, 1939, in Reevesville, South Carolina, daughter of the late Lovick E. and Blanche McAlhany Felder of Reevesville.

Rose was a loving homemaker and raised one daughter, who taught school.  Rose was a very talented individual: she enjoyed working with her flowers, talking to people, made sure her family was loved and well taken care of.  She loved fishing and gardening.  She always enjoyed time with her sister, Ennis Strickland, decorating the Town for the annual Magnolia Parade.  She was a lifetime member of Reevesville Baptist Church and served the Lord.  She read her Bible daily and prayed and loved everyone.

Rose is survived by her daughter, Theresa Bair Chaplin, of Reevesville; a nephew, Jerremy Strickland; a first cousin, Bobby Riley.  Also, very special friends and neighbors Bobbie Jo and Maxine Chinners. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, William A. Felder and a sister, Ennis F. Strickland.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Reevesville Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron Hawk officiating.  Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery Annex.  Pallbearers will be Bobby Jo Chinners, Perry Chinners, Ryan Reeves, Charlie Moorer, Greg Reeves, Furman Dukes and Nick Judy. The visitation will be an hour before the service, beginning at 1:00 PM in the church.
