Samuel Ayden Dantzler, 20, of Harleyville, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Samuel was born on March 14, 2005, in Seneca, SC, son of Jeffrey Allen Dantzler and Rebecca Murrell Dantzler. He was a 2023 graduate of Woodland High School and was employed at the Volvo Plant. He was a member of Old St. George Baptist Church.
Sam loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his brothers, Brantley and Jack. He never met a stranger. His captivating personality brought happiness and laughter to everyone he met, and his smile was contagious. He enjoyed fishing and riding on the river, and he loved his trucks and four-wheeler.
He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Rebecca Dantzler, and his brothers, Brantley Allen and Jackson Alexander Dantzler, all of Harleyville; maternal grandfather, Jerry Odell Murrell; paternal grandparents, Allen and Ann Dantzler; maternal aunts and uncles, Tami (Jim) Sickels, Roxie (Chris) Berry, Brian (Tammy) Murrell, Mary (Jason) Willis, Tol (Beth) Murrell, Alex (Katie) Murrell, and Patrick (Jennifer) Murrell; paternal aunt and uncle, Andrea D. (Chris) Tarr and Greg (Heather Beth) Dantzler; and a host of loving cousins of all ages.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Delaine Morgan Murrell, great grandparents, Kenneth and Carolyn Morgan, Tolbert and Edna Murrell, Lewis and Pauline Grooms Dantzler, Carlisle and Saphrona Dukes, his uncle and cousin, Mitch and Dylan Smith.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Old St. George Baptist Church with Pastors James Way and Dan Yagman officiating. Burial will follow in the Limestone Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Stokes, Jonah Fineran, Nathan Pickvett, Caleb Ulmer, Landon Barton, Jayce Reeves, Peyton Harbeson, Damien Wernicke, Ivey Sweatman, William Herndon and Chandler Lewis.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George.
Memorials may be made to Old St George Baptist Church or Limestone Baptist Church cemetery fund.
