Samuel Larry McGrew, Sr., 86, of St. George, husband of Jackie McGrew, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

A Memorial Service will be held will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the St. George Pentecostal Holiness Church, 110 Reed Street, St. George. 

Samuel was born on October 9, 1937, in St. George, a son of the late William Burnes McGrew and Lottie Marie Mallard McGrew.  He was a plumber and a member of the St. George Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He was predeceased by three daughters, Robin Renee Ramsey Baker, Donna Bucci and Angela LeBlanc; and brothers, William Ellis McGrew, Howard McGrew, Marion McGrew, Bobby McGrew, Carl McGrew and Jerry McGrew.

Surviving is his wife, Jackie McGrew, St. Geoge; a son, Samuel McGrew, II; a daughter, Peggy Jo (Ricky) Litchfield; five grandchildren, Marshall and James Ramsey, Patrick Clifton, Rick Litchfield and Bryan Bucci; and seven great grandchildren.
