Sheri Brunson Collier, 56, wife of Vance E. Collier, Jr., of St. George entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at her residence.

Sheri was born November 6, 1966, a daughter of Deborah Brunson O’Brien and the late Frank W. Brunson and was raised in Ridgeville, SC.  She was a 1984 graduate of Mims Academy and a 1987 graduate of Trident Technical College.  She was a retiree of SC Department of Corrections where she had worked for 25 years. She was a member of Old St. George Baptist Church.  She loved going to Edisto Beach and watching Dorchester Academy athletics.  She was a friend to all and will be dearly missed by many.

Surviving is her husband Vance E. Collier, Jr.; a daughter, Jordan Jeanne Collier; a son Vance E. Collier III; her mother, Deborah Brunson O’Brien; a brother Frank W. Brunson III (Lisa); nieces Tracy Coldren (Karly and Jeremy) and Crystal Alexander (Mason and Abriannah).

Funeral Services will be 2:30 PM on Monday, October 9, 2023, at Old St. George Baptist Church with Rev. James Way and Pastor John T. Lastinger, Jr. officiating.  A burial will follow in the Harleyville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rufus Mincey, Charlie Hartzog, Chris Mizzell, Jarrod Whitlash, Nick McAlhany, and Johnnie Marchant.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 -2:00 PM  at the church and after the graveside services.
