Shirley McAlhany Minus, 71, of Reevesville, wife of Michael “Mike” N. Minus, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the St. George Cemetery with Mr. Bill Utsey officiating.

Shirley was born on December 19, 1950, in Summerville, a daughter of Allie Christine Walters McAlhany and the late Leon Hardy McAlhany.  She was a graduate of St. George High School and was a clerk with the Department of Social Services.  She loved reading, her family and especially her grandchildren. 

Surviving is her husband, Michael “Mike” Norman Minus; Spence (Shannon) Bozard, Max Minus, all of Reevesville and Chris (Nikki) Minus, St. George; grandchildren, Harley Bozard, Zachary Bozard, Ava Minus, Sadie Minus, Conlee Minus, Miller Minus and Maverick Minus; her mother, Christine W. McAlhany; a brother, Jerry (Teresa) McAlhany, Cape Cod, Mass; sisters, Dale (Wayne) Davis, Bowman and Lydia (Richie) Fogle, St. George; nieces and nephews, Ken (Debbie) Davis, Bowman, Amy (Andy) Westbury, Orangeburg, Jessica Ponds, St. George, Rachel (Shane) Fanning, St. Matthews and Dylan Wimberly, Reevesville.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
