Stacey Rene Mizzell, 53, of St. George, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 18, 2024.
A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 PM Friday, November 22, 2024, at Indian Field Methodist Church with Reverend Thomas Sandifer and Boyd Owens officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the church and other times at the home of her mother, 152 Gruber Lane, St. George.
Stacey was born on June 16, 1971, in Charleston, a daughter of Patricia Gruber Mizzell Mims and the late Logan Francis Mizzell. She was a 1989 graduate of Dorchester Academy and Coastal Carolina University. Stacey was a caterer and enjoyed serving with Tonya’s Catering Service by Design. She was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan, loved going to the beach and fishing. She loved her family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved to have a good time by making the most out of life, but her most treasured love was her son, Owen. She was predeceased by her father.
Surviving is her son, Owen Grayson Mizzell-Bookhart; mother, Patricia Gruber Mizzell (George) Mims; sisters, Julie Mizzell and Kristen M. (Shawn) Robertson; a brother, Jeffrey Lee Mizzell; nieces and nephews, Logan Kelley (Bubba)Von Ohsen, Claire Leanna Kelley, Aiden Christopher Robertson and Wren Patricia Robertson; many more special family and friends.
