Thomas Lewis Westbury, 67, of St. George, husband of Lou Ann Creel Westbury, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 3, 2025.

A Graveside Funeral Service with Masonic Rites will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 6, 2025, at St. George Memorial Gardens with Pastor Joey McDonald officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour before the service.

Tom was born on May 21, 1957, in Walterboro, SC, a son of the late Austin Lewis “Shorty” and Sarah Murray Westbury.  In 1975, Tom graduated from St. George High School and worked at the Navy Yard .  He was a member of the first graduating class at Trident Technical College in 1994 due to the upcoming closure of the Shipyard. Following his graduation, he became the owner and operator of Westbury Surveying, LLC.   He was a member of St. George Methodist Church, the Contemporary Christian Sunday School Class, Harmony Lodge Masonic #61 AFM and the Omar Safety Patrol.

Surviving is his wife, Lou Ann Westbury; a daughter, Trelli Westbury (Ethan) Bair; grandson, McClain Thomas Bair, all of St. George; sisters, Evan (Wayne) Eadon and Jan (Rocky) Berger; mother-in-law, Shirley C. Creel; brother-in-law, Lynn (Candi) Creel; and his grand dog, Henry.
