Thomas "Buckshot" Stanley, Sr., 69, husband of Melody Edmonds Stanley, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 12, 2024.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 19, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

"Buckshot" was born on November 6, 1954, in Grays, SC, a son of the late Wilbur Thomas Stanley and Willie Alma Hadwin Stanley. He was a graduate of Ridgeland High School and was a woods supervisor with Norfolk Southern, Brosnan Forest. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and loved the outdoors and hunting. Surviving is his wife, Melody Edmonds Stanley; a son, Gerald (Andrea) Stanley, all of St. George; a daughter, Amy Hughes, Jedburg; sister, Flossie (Will) Hogg; a brother, Herman (Peggy) Wilburn, Jr.; grandchildren, Amber (Tony) Kwakenat, Thomas Stanley, III, Mia Stanley, Michael Thomas Hughes and Matthew Hughes; and a great-grandson, Jackson Kwakenat.
