Thomas “Tag” Augustus Godfrey of St George, South Carolina, passed away on August 18. He was born July 9, 1934. He was in the United States Air Force and retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard. 

Thomas was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Kitty Belle Godfrey and his wife Carol “Bernadette” Godfrey. He is survived by his 2 daughters Kimberly G Walters (Chris) of Edisto Island and Tanya G Smith of St George, SC and 5 grandchildren Miles, John Conner, and Savannah Walters and Gracie and Thomas Rogers. 

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, August 22 at 6pm followed by a Memorial Service at 7pm at Bryant Funeral Home in St George SC.
