Surrounded by her family, Tracy Elaine Green Brown, 50, of Summerville, after a courageous battle with cancer, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Indian Field United Methodist Church with Pastor Craig Crosby officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Green, Andy Green, George Brown, Johnny Davis, William Herndon and Lukas Crosby. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Family and friends are being received at the home of Elaine Green, 313 White House Pond Road, Harleyville.
Tracy was born on December 29, 1972 in Charleston, a daughter of Miles Lavan Green, Sr. and Elaine Myers Green. She was a 1991 graduate of St. George High School, attended the University of South Carolina and graduated from the University of Hawaii. She was a director of The Toy Box Daycare where her passion was working with children. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and she was dedicated to her family. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Brown; grandparents, Robert and Lillian Pendarvis and Harold and Marcel Green.
Surviving is her son, Alexander “AJ” (Briana) Brown, Summerville; grandson, August Brown; mother, Elaine Green; father, Miles Lavan (Kathy) Green, Sr.; brother, Miles Lavan Green, Jr.; sister, Shelly (Josh) Fredlake; nieces, Lillian “Lily” Fredlake and Clara Fredlake and a nephew, Joshua Fredlake; aunt, Brenda Crosby; and, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
