Wallace Rodney Causey, 77, of St. George, husband of Nell Causey, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 4, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Indian Field Methodist Church with Rev. Thomas Sandifer officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Evan Dorn, Austin Causey, Mason Causey, Daryl Causey, Matthew Blanton, Robbie Infinger, Jr. and James S. Minus, Jr.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George.

Wallace was born on July 19, 1947, in Savannah, Georgia, a son of the late Ralph Causey and Lily Rose Lightsey Causey.  He was a graduate of Estill High School and attended University of South Carolina and was a retired insurance salesman and farmer. He was a member of Indian Field Methodist Church.

He was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Seckinger.

Surviving is his wife, Nell Marchant Causey; sons, Rodney (Dana) Causey, Jr., Ingett (Holly) Causey and D. Jason Causey (Lee Ann Stanley); daughters, Lenora (Jeff) Blanton,  Carmen (Bruce) Mosher and Brandy (Mitchell) Brabham; Bonus children, Terri Infinger and Robbie D. (Angie) Infinger; brother, Connor Causey, Jr.; brother-in-law, Porter Seckinger; 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Indian Field Methodist Church, 2030 Highway 15 North, St. George, SC 29477 and Furman Baptist Church, Rabon Street, Furman, South Carolina.
